Cooool! Very Happy

The one thing I don't quite understand is how to create integrated EXE files (with the runtime embedded). Do you select VDS 6 standard executable (as opposed to VDS 5 standard executable)?

Im confused...

The splash screen for VDS6 looks very very similar to one i designed and sent for the competition....

I sent it back in dec 2005....

Maybe they modified it a bit to make it different to my orginal, which i will find and post it and leave it up to you...

And no way to pay for it... yet.

Lots of cool new features including, XML, CGI, Use any image type, Popup Balloons, select dialog by class, compile as console application, manifest execution level.

You can even create a map file containing line numbers of all labels and global variables to aid debugging error messages.

One very nice feature is all the dialog elements that are variable (trackbar, checkboxes etc) have a style to remember the setting.

It would not surprise me if it is not possible to buy it until Jan 1 - as this would technically make it a 2008 release. Wink

CR is working on the store page so you can buy VDS, I was up with ED during that night and he was trying to rush to get it all posted as quick as possible; a problem with the mail server (getting the newsletter out) took over 2 hours to fix.

The store and fixes to the website will be up soon, CR tried to get you VDS before Christmas as promised and couldn't put up the entire website in time. You'll be able to buy pretty soon though Smile

Any idea what the price (upgrade and new) will be? (so I can check whether Santa has brought me enough)

Not sure on the price, under $100 for sure. I think there is going to be a nice reduced price for those that are upgrading from vds 5 as well.
