There is such a thing as hope... and it's justified in certain situations. But to hold onto hope after continual disappointment is surely more akin to delusion.

Hope/delusion - could be either.
I would be ecstatic just to see a new VDS with only two things:
- More user variables
- A browser element with no version checking, allowing it to be run on a server without administrator privileges.
Evidently, both of those features are sitting there, waiting to be released!
I know that people thought the delay was related to the owner's health. Has anyone spoken with him? Hopefully he is doing much better, with or without the VDS release.

I have found it puzzling and ironic over the many many many years
since I was a young lad that the word "soon" has taken on a completely
different meaning.
Years ago when someone referred to "soon" it was generally meant to convey the meaning of a few days or a couple of weeks or in the context of something big , maybe a year.
Ironically in this computer age of gigahertz, terabytes, and nanosecs , "soon" seems to have taken on the meaning of " sometime in the indefinate future , eh! maybe never!".
" VERY SOON" I am not so sure. But I am definately intrigued!!!
Just an observation.
