After spending what is probably way to much time adding and testing 300 lines of code to my programs to check if it's licensed and prevent crackers bypassing the licensing or extending the trial I've started to wonder about a few things.

What does someone see if they decompile a VDS exe Question Variables? Comments?

Is it even possible to decompile a VDS exe Question (please don't mention how - don't want to give wannabe crackers any help)

I've also read that the VDS runtime offers some protection for VDS exes.

How does the VDS runtime protect VDS exes Question

A program for sale will always be cracked, and there is no universal protection that
can be used to prevent this. There are measures one can take to slow the
process, but the fact is that there are people that have nothing better to do than
give your hard work away for free.

Therefore, it would be inappropriate to discuss the workings of the VDS compiler
system. One measure of protection for developers using VDS is to not discuss
how the system works.

In order to prevent anyone from posting something that would violate our
zero-tolerance cracking policy, this topic will be locked. Thank you for your
understanding.
