Hello all,
New web site. shinobisoft.vdsworld.com. Please check it out and
let me know what you think.
There are some broken links, especially for downloading, so please be
patient while I work out all of the bugs.

Hiya FF,
Actually, I was a member of the VDS Webring, once upon a time anyways.
All kidding aside, yes !
On another note while I'm here, I sure could use some help designing a
logo and avatar. Anyone interested, please let me know.

hi bill,
looks good - i like simple designs which your site is and your information is well organized
can i suggest using light blue on dark blue instead of orange on dark blue?
and instead of grey section headers, perhaps a light blue as grey is usually associated with unselected items and that was my first thoughts when i saw your section headers?
very subjective comments

Thanks FF.
Hiya Serge,
Thanks for the compliments. I wanted my site to be easy to browse and
fast loading so I strayed from using alot of images. Although I am a very
technical person, my artistic abilities leave a bit to be desired. I will look
into your color suggestions and see if my eyes like them.
Thanks again, _________________ Bill Weckel

Thanks Prakash. The way I look at it, you scratched my back, the least I
can do is try to return the favor _________________ Bill Weckel

Hello All,
Does anyone know how I can go about keeping track of how many times
a particular file has been downloaded? I have a hit counter but that's only
for the web site itself.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance, _________________ Bill Weckel

hi bill,
in the past i have used the 3rd party www.urllog.com but i can't seem to access their web site at the moment - do a search for "link counters"
the alternative, i think, would be some cgi or perl or ... script

You can use a PHP script which writes to a text file, or you can just use
the VDSWORLD file system to track your downloads. _________________ FreezingFire

Hello All,
I believe that I have managed to complete the web site. All links should
be working, including the download links . Please check it out and give
me some feedback.
