I need a horizontal scroll bar on my DIALOG ADD,LIST box...

The data that I set to the LIST box is to long horizontally and is very important to be able to scroll to the right some way to see the end.

i think this is what you are looking for

Quote:
The LIST dialog element does not have a style option for displaying a horizontal scroll bar. However, you can get Windows to display a horizontal scroll bar using the line:

%P = @sendmsg(@winexists(~LIST1),$0194,1000,0)

after the dialog has been created (where LIST1 is the name of the LIST dialog element).

sorry tim...the 0 must stay as a zero...the 1000 is the one that determines the length of the horizontal scroll bar Wink

Hi All,
Can you do me a favor? When you post @SendMsg code can you please post the name of the Message ID along with the code. It makes it easier to find more information about the Message ID that you are using.

Message API's are typically named by the message name: WM_CLOSE, EM_GETTEXT , etc.

Most vds api reference articles will give you the identifier number and the api sendmessage name.

Mindpower asked for the name so he can easily lookup the documentation and know the exact structure of what the API message expects.
