Hi Vic!
Looks nice. Two things:
Page is totally blank in Opera.
IE OK. I would, however, expand the main table cell almost all the way to the window bottom even when it has only a
few lines of text. To avoid a large field of gray and to signal that it is the main section. Matter of taste, of course...

Has anyone any idea why the site isn't displayed when using Opera, Mozilla or Firebird?
I do use some <meta> tags to get the screenwidth of the enduser to do some calculations, but I dunno if that could cause the problem
Best regards

Took a peek at your code.. Ya gotta stick with valid HTML syntax, so put
<HTML>
<HEAD>
at the very top of your page and make sure that your style definition is within the HEAD tag, i.e. remove the HEAD
starter tag just below your style def.
My guess is that it should do the trick...

I've made some minor changes to the site (many thanks to Serge for his review ).
And is the site visible when using another browser than IE?

Blank for me in the latest Firebird variation of Mozilla. Here's the URL that
ends up showing in the address bar when it's done:
http://www.visionware.org/includes/set_scrwidth.php?width=undefined&page=index.php
If that's a script to get the screen width of the user, then it should have
no problem here, but if it's a script to resize my browser window, then
it won't work because I have that ability turned off in Firebird.

Just checked it out in MSIE 5.5 and at least it's not blank.
I did notice one mistake though. It's the most common mistake in web
design, and that is, forgetting to set the bgcolor in the BODY
tage of the page.
I do believe you intended the background color of your page to be
white. In the body tag place the following:
BGCOLOR="#FFFFFF"
If you change your color scheme on your system to say something like
"Plum (High Color)" then go view your page in MSIE and you'll see what
I mean.
