How many OSes (ex. Win 95, 98, ME, etc.) include the FTP.EXE? If they
all do it could prove to be useful for VDS applications. Smile

Not sure why it turns into a link like that. I added spaces on mine to
keep it from being a link.

Remember, VDS 5 allows access to other dlls, so you can use dlls
that are already part of the windows system to access ftp.

There's a small ftp example included with VDS 5 that shows you how
to use wininet.dll which I believe is on every version of windows. But!
I'm not sure about 2k and XP.

You can keep it from becoming a link by putting [ COLOR ] tags around
the name:

FTP.EXE

The forum probably converts it to a link because it assumes that it's an URL on an FTP server as it starts with
ftp and has a filename extension - ftp://somefile.exe

Very nice... except VDS 5 isn't out yet! How long has it been since we heard that VDS 5 would be out within "several days or weeks" at the most? Was it March? I think so. Rolling Eyes

If you watch films at all (The Matrix) you might think this was a bad idea..... Rolling Eyes

Maybe they are writing the dll that sucks the electrical charge from your body into the national grid in order to sell it back to the electrical companies...

Shocked I just re-read that line, and I sound like a strung out sci-fi lovin, coffee overdosing idiot....please ignore.
