I'm trying to get the file path of a shortcut (.lnk) file on Vista here using @file(shortcuthere,L), but I keep getting an unhandled exception error. Anyone else have this problem on Vista? Anyone know of a work around to it?

Thanks in advance,
-Garrett

My Vista beta has expired so I can't help you with that one. But if it's something that needs changing in the VDS runtime you're going to be stuffed anyway.

I could help you Garrett but you will have to use a VDS DLL to do this Wink

Using @shortname() resolved the issue. I forgot that VDS needs shortname in some instances.
