Hi
This is sort of a VDS question???
When I'm in the VDS I.D.E. and do... File -> Open the contents
are not arranged correctly. So I do Arrange Icons by Name and
everything looks OK, but the next time I File -> Open the contents
have gone back to the random order again. How do I make arrange
by Name stick???

David,
The File Open dialog is the Windows dialog so if it does not keep the arrangement as you thought it is because this is actually handled by the Folder Options in Windows Explorer and nothing to do specifically with the File Open dialog. The file and folder view that you see there is actually Windows Explorer.
