Can this control be made into a DLL?

http://www.vbaccelerator.com/home/VB/Code/Controls/S_Grid_2/index.asp

This is a capability I've been dreaming about Sleep
I would definitely pay $$$ for it.

I don't know if anyone has made a VDS DLL with VB.

That looks like a very useful control. I assume that the response was favorable - it is possible with VDS? New Gadget.DLL coming out to solve this and other problems?

It would be nice instead of taking messages to private that you mention the solutions or possible solutions on the forums so others can benefit or know what potential route you are going; it's the whole idea of a forum/community.

Obviously if you are offering custom scripting services thats another thing and can be understood if you want to take it to private messages.

Hiya P,

All will become clear soon with the release of the new Gadget DLL.

I'm not sure but maybe Dragonsphere doesn't want to start major puplic descussion about a DLL that hasn't been released yet. Mostly, I think he's just trying get a few ideas to use as examples for release with the DLL. Again, I'm not trying to speek for him... Just speculating.

What I will say (in my personal optinion) is that the new Gadget Dll will provide me a vehicle to capabilities that I've dreamed about for a long time.

It can be a bit complicated but I do see a possibility for a major increase in DSU development with use of the new DLL.

Sorry PGWare,
Aslan is exactly right. The reason for the PM's is because my DLL has not been released yet. I don't like being so secretive because I too am very excited about this DLL. Until it is released I will start PM'ing people about this instead of asking them to PM me. I hope this will help. I don't want everyone here to think that I am trying to keep them in the dark or not sharing with the rest of the forum these solutions. All solutions I have come up with but have not posted yet will be posted to the various posts. I will be updating all of them on this forum and the DLL developers forum.

Perhaps I should follow this example and stop posting any information about VDS 6...

I hope you said that as a teaser........ your VDS 6 information is much appreciated as it gives us a little inside look of things to come.

If things are allowed to be in the open please keep releasing info about it.
It make for some more "hungry" clients that can hardly wait to spend their money on VDS 6.

Personally I think we should get exciting little tidbits about upcoming VDS
versions to get us excited, because I'm not as excited as I was about VDS 5
because there's nothing to get excited about so far -- no juicy info has been
released. Wink

I think it would be much more effective to make people drool about it and
dream about it and want it because they can see, for example, a screen
shot, but can't actually have it until it's released.
