Hi guys. I'm back.
Hope everyone has missed me as much as I missed being here
Anyways, I've found to bugs in VDS 5.
I have the Multilanguage patch installed.
First off...
When using the @name() function I noticed something strange.
I was writing a CD menu system for my projects.
I noticed that when trying to get the filename from this string:
%%File = @name(@path(%0)\Fileversion.is.1.0.2.3.2.exe)
it returned the incorrect value.
What I was expecting was Fileversion.is.1.0.2.3.2 as the value, but instead it returns Fileversion
Seems like the function searches for the first period in the string instead of the last period.
Secondly...
When using the ENTER key as a shortcut in a menu I suddenly got a french lesson
DIALOG ADD,MENU,File,Open|ENTER,-,Exit|Ctrl+X
Try this and see what you get next to the 'Open' text.
You probably got 'Entrče' the same as me.
Hope these small bugs will be taken care off soon |

I wondered where you went while you were gone.
Anyways, there's VDS 5.1 that's due out sometime soon.
I know the menu bug is supposed to be fixed. _________________ FreezingFire

Good, thanks for the reply.
The name function is pretty annoying.
I can get around it by using the @pos() function, but it does add abit extra work for me.
We moved in July, right before our son was born on the 23rd of july. And my ISP promised they could deliver DSL where I moved to, but they couldn't after all. So after months of struggling with them, I gave up on them and changed ISP. Now I'm back online and a happy father at the same time
Things are going great |
