[ VDS Zip DLL ]
http://www.vdsworld.com/index.php?page=download&fileid=241

Author: Garrett R. Hylltun

Version: 1.3.0
Date: December 5, 2002
Update: 20 January, 2003
Size: 148 kB
Price: $9.95 US Dollar
Registration Site: RegSoft
Requirements: vds 2.50 or higher

This extension dll gives you Zip and Unzip features for your Visual
DialogScript applications. It also gives you the ability to create SFX
zip files (Self Extracting Zip). The zip files compressed with the VDS
Zip DLL rival that of any other professional grade Zip program such
as WinZip. You also get features found in such programs.

and English. The optional parameter after the zipfile parameter is
either left blank for French sfx gui, or put "english" for English sfx
gui. Read more in the documentation.)

(UPDATE: ZIP SFX command has been updated. Command
previously allowed setup.exe to be executed and not install.exe,
but now install.exe can be executed in the SFX. Read more in
the documentation.)

Checked your Zip DLL out cause it might come in handy one day. However, it turns out that
SFX files come out with a French GUI ! Anything to do about that?

he did.

Seems he added language support to the sfx a while back, but it seems
the email he sent me regarding that didn't get here. Here's the syntax:

Code:
ZIP ZIPTOSFX, <ZipFile>, <Language>

For French, leave the <Language> blank. For English, put english

These are the string translated into Dutch:

Zip Automatische Uitpakker
&Alles Selecteren
&Niks Selecteren
Geen installatie map geselecteerd!
bestaat niet. Wilt U deze map aanmaken?
is een foutieve map!
Er zijn geen bestanden geselecteerd!
bestaat al. Wilt U dit bestand overschrijven?
bestanden uitgepakt
bestanden kunnen foutief zijn).
het uitpak-bestand is foutief!
Uitpakken naar :
Selecteer de bestanden om uit te pakken:
Als de bestanden in de doelmap al bestaan:
Vragen om te overschrijven
Overschrijven
Overslaan, en niet overschrijven
Sluiten
Overschrijf bestanden zonder te vragen
Voer het wachtwoord in
Annuleren
Bestanden uitpakken

I posted them here, because maybe somebody else from the Netherlands may have a better translation...

Yup, that's about right. And not just "mostly spoken in Denmark" - it's about only spoken in Denmark
except for a small community in northern Germany. By the way, Dutch and Danish are actually related
as both are Germanic languages, like German, Swedish, and Norwegian. However, Dutch and Danish people
are not able to understand each other's languages, whereas Danes, Swedes and Norwegians can
usually make themselves understandable to each other.

That was the end of today's little linguistic lesson Wink

Greetings from Denmark
or in Danish: Hilsner fra Danmark

Dutch is mostly spoken in The Netherlands, and all world-parts that were owned by Dutchman in the past, like Indonesia and the Dutch (& French) Antills. And they used to talk Dutch in New York (Nieuw Amsterdam) too, until they traded it with the English for a few eggs or something (no good businessman... Smile ) Dutch is nowdays also spoken in holiday resorts that are being visited by people from The Netherlands, altrough they can't say more than 'yes', 'no', 'free for you, my friend' and 'low priced'... Laughing

Dutch is also spoken in the upper part of Belgium. In Germany they don't speak any Dutch, but if they talk slowly, it's possible to understand them (and I'm talking with experience). I also have the same experience with Swedish and Danish people, because most of the words look the same...
