Why is the file download size so large? In excess of 4MB? _________________ Andrew GRAY

That's a very very good question now that I think about it.
Even with the included redistribution file being included in the programs directory and seperate integrated runtimes for the install I still believe this is indeed too large.
I will be repackaging it today for future downloads...and I advise using a virus scanner on the install if you have already downloaded the file.
Mine came up blank using Norton. Let me know if there was any issues with the distribution file you can find with another antiviral program.

PS My apologies for the large distribution...I seem to be having troubles finding a good redistribution utility. |

If you're looking for a good program to redistribute your software, take
a look at:
http://www.innosetup.com
It's all open-source and works really well. _________________ FreezingFire

Someone else gave you a link to this same program in another thread. _________________ FreezingFire

I think NSIS from NullSoft has the smallest output of any installer package.
Inno adds like 250k and NSIS adds about 45k.

I'm pretty happy with Inno
I might give NullSoft a try in the future. I figure 250k from Inno beats the crap out of the 4mb overhead of InstallStation.

For my installations, i use Install Maker. There is a free version (with a minor nag message at the end of the installation) which does everything i need.
I have been using it for some time now. It is available from www.clickteam.com or the direct link to the product information http://www.clickteam.com/English/installmaker.php

I originally used ClickTeam's install maker but found Inno Setup to be much
more professional in appearance. _________________ FreezingFire
