Update 1.10.7.2003 DOWNLOAD

This update allows you now to assign an extra text field to each popup menu item. This lets you have a hidden value/text with each popup item. Also added is a @popup(getextratext) function which should be used after a click event, this lets you pull the extra text/value from the popup.

I added this as Chris needed a way to hold the directoy path to files he was listing with the vdspopup, instead of showing the entire path in the popup item, you can just show the filename, and then assign the extra field with the entire path. The extra field is hidden and is pulled using the @popup(getextratext) function Smile

Update 1.10.9.2003 - DOWNLOAD HERE

This update adds a new command POPUP SHOWPREVIOUSMENU, <x coordinate>, <y coordinate>

This allows you to show the last popup menu you created without having to rebuild it. This was added in to make showing a popup with several items load alot faster, since the popup is already built, using this command simply allows you to display it again thus making popups show up alot faster.

Update - 1.10.11.2003 - DOWNLOAD HERE

This update is a proactive fix for a small bug that may cause problems, no problems have been encountered with this but I went ahead and fixed it just in case. The problem was with loading icon resources, if more then one program tried to access the same icon errors 'MAY' happen, this fixes such issues so multiple programs can access the icons with no problem.

That extension is very impressive.
I haven't actually tried it yet myself, only looked at the examples provided with the download. But I just bought it couse I just gotta have it Wink

Hi GeoTrail,
Serials are usually processed automatically (sometimes manually), the bot usually sends out two emails - due to many customers not noticing the serial/registration email thus I send two to get their notice.

Thanks for the comments about the dll, it wasn't that difficult to build however it does add a nice new popup to vds Smile

In regards to your post from the link you mentioned above.

While I can understand you want an affordable solution there are many internet dll's available for http protocol - vdsipp, vdstcpip and Tommy's vdsdll package. Note also my typical per hour job starts at $100 USD so it would not be economical to have a custom dll (atleast from me).

But you are asking a professionals rate, and I want someone "young" who needs a few bucks to do a quick job. Not just to earn money but also a chance to show off and earn future reference Smile

Not that someone young can't make the product reliable as I was(still am) young and worked for that money too. However it does take some time to make a vds dll and make sure it works correctly, thus the reason I raised my rates; but mainly because I have less time to work on dll's. The majority of time working on a dll is making sure it works as universally as possible and making sure most bugs are plugged.

Also you have to remember it is not just the development of these DLL's but the maintinance and upkeep as well.
