So you can learn and accomplish things your way. By trying to replicate these prebuilt tools within Windows you can learn alot about programming  |

Have you even tried the program at all, skit? It's not the same as the default character chart at all.

The character map with windows didn't offer the decimal numbers which we need for VDS. I actually use a program called ExtendedCharacterMap by Sony Arianto Kurniawan. I'd offer the URL, but his site is no longer at the URL I have.
This program offers decimal, Hex, Oct and Binary representations of all the characters that the Windows character map shows. It also allows a larger viewing area which makes it a bit easier to view the characters.
The Windows character map just doesn't cut it really.
