I know the error-line problems from my own scripts too. seems that vds sometimes gives a wrong number (+1 or -1).
please download the latest version of vdscrypt from vdsworld.com and try it.

thanks fabian...i will do that...is there a check i can code in to avoid vds giving it the wrong number?

| most times you can see it on the error number. when error 4 occurs for example (list error), i look one line before and after the error line for a list command. |
